Abstract
Disaster Recovery (DR) has long been the champagne and caviar of IT – only for the really rich. InMage set its sights on enabling everyone to have real disaster recover abilities at a price that won’t break the bank, and pull it off with a staff of mortals.
Founded by industry legend Kumar Malavalli (Brocade Founder) and other industry veterans in late 2001, InMage enables IT shops to first be able to recover from serious outages, even if the company is only a mid-tier player, and to tackle more mainstream everyday outages. By focusing on solving the bigger task first, and then following on with local disaster recovery products, InMage aims to create and dominate where no real solutions currently exist.
