Top ten reasons you don’t need a requirements document when you’re upgrading software

A NueVista White Paper by David De Witt, Practice Director

www.nuevista.com

Abstract
Everyone knows it's a pain to create a requirements document, according to David De Witt, Requirements Management Practice Director, NueVista Group. In this thoroughly tongue-in-cheek approach, De Witt offers his "top ten" reasons why such a document isn't needed! The process, he says, is tedious, time consuming and expensive - and it could force your users to think about what could be done better, faster and more efficiently with an updated application. He also points out that features are not requirements, but then again, requirements are not features, either.
