Abstract
In the competitive world of today's business more and more companies
become global, which means Application users are distributed among
multiple locations and servers. In that kind of environment a situation
might occur when end users request content that is contained on the
other side of the globe, or the primary server is not available. In
such conditions immediate service delivery is impossible and the
frustrated end users might get the required service from a competitor
only because of the time they had to invest in order to use company
services that did not provide efficient ability to deal with the
required demand. In addition, Disaster Recovery plans such as fail
over in infrastructures like telephone service, as well as company
specific infrastructures failed because their Business Continuity
technologies were not adequate.
