Abstract
Increased budget scrutiny and the need for IT governance compliance demand that IT organizations achieve greater operational efficiency and embrace a more collaborative infrastructure. To facilitate this need, we are introducing the idea of the Management Integration Center (MIC), a center of excellence that expands the responsibilities of a traditional Program Management Office (PMO) to include resource management, workforce management, and overall work integration.
This paper will discuss the benefits of establishing a Management Integration Center (MIC) and introduce 16 business integration functions designed to balance and measure the MIC’s performance.
