William Barouski , Sr. VP of Customer Relations & Support Office, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago

Mr. Barouski is Senior Vice President of the Customer Relations and Support Office (CRSO) of the Federal Reserve System.  Within the CRSO, Mr. Barouski and his group are responsible for ensuring secure and reliable multi-channel options to the Federal Reserve's financial products and services.  Mr. Barouski's group is also in charge of assuring the Federal Reserve's strategic role in the evolving global payments marketplace vis-à-vis leveraging new technologies in order to bring to market protected and flexible electronic access offerings; including Internet and IP-based platforms.  Finally, Mr. Barouski's group is accountable for creating and managing strong customer relationships through coordinated nationwide marketing activities, as well as high quality and knowledgeable customer support.

Tim Plona, North American Regional Information Security Officer, Océ

Tim Plona is the North American Regional Information Security Officer for Océ. Océ is a Dutch multi-national manufacturer and supplier of digital document processing solutions.  In this position he is responsible for the strategic direction of Information Security efforts of the eight Océ companies in North America, which includes over 4000 end users.  As part of his duties, he oversees the activities of Local Information Security Coordinators at each operating company while steering the companies towards solutions that provide business information security.  Tim has been in information technology for 13 years, originally owning his own consulting firm.  Previous positions have focused on IT Operations Management for multi-site corporations. Tim completed his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Bradley University and his MBA at Keller Graduate School of Management.  Tim lives with his wife and two children in the Chicago area.

Andy Reeder, Director, Information Security, Central Dupage Hospital

Andy Reeder currently serves as the Director of Information Security for Central DuPage Hospital , a major regional healthcare provider.  He
creates the strategy and planning that defines information protection for the organization and establishes administrative, organizational, and
technical controls that provide for information protection.  Mr. Reeder previously managed information security consulting services for a major professional services practice in Chicago and has provided assistance to major government organizations in the design and assessment of information security programs. Mr. Reeder has received the CISSP, CISA, and CISM designations, received his M.A. and B.A. from the University of Virginia , and has been a leader in various information security professional associations.

Arlene Yetnikoff, Dir. of IS Security, DePaul University

Arlene Yetnikoff is the Director of Information Security for DePaul University.  DePaul University is one of the ten largest private universities in the United States, offering numerous degrees in Computer Science and other fields, including a Masters in Computer, Information and Network Security and a Bachelor's in Information Assurance and
Security Engineering.

Arlene has worked in Information Security for over twenty years both as a consultant, educator and hands-on practitioner.  Arlene's many years of consulting experience in the Technology Risk group of a major accounting firm allowed her to help clients of varied sizes  in numerous
industries assess and design their information protection architecture, policies and processes.  Today, Arlene leads DePaul's Information Security and Business Continuity initiatives.  Arlene also teaches Information Security sessions at DePaul and in the University of Chicago's Masters of Computer Science program.

Arlene is a CISSP and a CISA.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a Masters in Computer Science, Telecommunications from DePaul University.

Stephen Brown, Policy Practice Manager, Internet Security Systems

Steve Brown is the policy practice manager for Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS). With more than nine years of operations and project management experience, including extensive knowledge of project planning and strategy, Brown has been responsible for helping ISS' clients assess, design and implement information protection policies, processes, and enterprise technology deployments. Brown has broad expertise in security policy and procedure analysis and development, security strategy and deployment planning, and security audits and assessments. Brown has driven security management initiatives and provided all levels of policy development across many types of industries, including financial, healthcare, energy, retail, manufacturing, and federal, state, county, and local governments.

Prior to joining ISS , Brown was vice president and co-founder of Varsten Management, Inc., a management contracting and consulting company


Matthew Caston, Vice President, CA Technology Services (CATS) Security Delivery

His areas of expertise include Identity & Access Management, information and technology risk management strategies, industry compliance issues (Sarbanes, HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, ISO), and other related risk management initiatives.

As Security Services Vice President for CA-TS he is responsible for all
aspects of the consulting delivery process, and functions as a lead
management consultant for key CA clients. Matthew has more than 10 years experience in creating industry best-practice security and
risk-management programs and architectures for State, Local, Fortune
500 and Global 2000 organizations.

As the practice director for several well known consulting
organizations, Matthew has advised many Fortune-sized organizations
while managing more than one hundred enterprise risk, vulnerability, and penetration testing and policy compliance assessments. Matthew has
significant experience in all aspects of the development of mature,
compliant information security programs and strategies

Shantanoo Govilkar, Principal, Alpine Consulting

Shantanoo brings more than 15 years of experience in providing executive consulting focused on leveraging emerging technologies to deliver business benefits. His previous assignments include building new business practices around the secure Internet in 1997. He was also a member of a national workgroup on secure electronic healthcare transactions that are a part of the HIPAA regulation.

His work on the Entity Analytics technology addresses the role of people when it comes to security breaches, fraud, collusion – that cost billions of dollars in losses for the organizations worldwide. Working with IBM, he has developed fraud detection and prevention frameworks and up-front ROI models while working on multiple engagements across many verticals (Financial Services, Retail, Insurance, Healthcare, Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Gaming, among others).

 

Dennis Szerszen, VP Marketing & Buisness Development, SecureWave

Dennis has over 20 years of product management, marketing and business development experience working for IBM where he was responsible for introducing new systems management and security software and services offerings. While at IBM, he played a key role in helping IBM acquire Tivoli Systems. In recent years, Dennis directed Hurwitz Group's security practice where he had the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative and influential companies in the IT security and systems management markets.

He also served as President and Chief Strategy Officer for a Swedish security vendor. Most recently, Dennis worked as an independent consultant, helping software startups bring their products to market. He joined SecureWave in 2004 as VP of Business Development. Dennis is CISSP and ISO certified security specialist.

Joe Goyette, Senior Systems Engineer, SGI

Joe Goyette has been working as a systems engineer in the UNIX and LINUX market space for over twelve years.   Prior to joining SGI, Joe was
employed as a Systems Administrator at a large academic institution
where he learned first-hand the importance of proper system and network security management.  During his time at SGI Joe has supported major installations at secure government sites and worked on a high-throughput encryption processing project for a major US communications carrier.

Joe is currently acting as the technical lead in developing and
supporting SGI's telecommunications industry business.

Mark Juiris is the president and founder of Acumentiv Inc.. Mark has served for over 10 years providing IT business solutions via consulting and educational forums. He has organized Acumentiv from the ground up with veterans averaging 12-15 years industry experience offering ?Big 3? skill-sets but with the autonomy to make decisions in the best interests of the client.

Mark holds a Bachelor'ss degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago . He is an avid cyclist, in-line skater and has active interests in the international community.
