Business Intelligence Chicago, IL | April 27th, 2006

Business Intelligence (BI) has evolved dramatically over the last few years. Most companies thought of BI as standard query, reporting, and OLAP tools that disseminated information to the organization. BI is now used as an important, strategic tool in most corporations – to measure, discover, change, and differentiate their organizations from their competitors. A recent survey of 1,400 CIO’s conducted by Gartner Group found that Business Intelligence has surpassed Security as the top technology priority this year.
That begs the question -- How are corporations implementing BI to share information, innovate and improve their business against the challenge of both more data and increasing user demands? How are product and service vendors helping customers deliver on BI projects, showing value and increasing adoption within and outside their organization? We hope to explore some of these topics and others as part of this session on Business Intelligence.
