Michael Biagioli, CIO, Waukesha County,has over 38 years of experience. Under his leadership, technology has moved closer in alignment with the business needs of the county, with a focus on measured Return on Investment for the implementation of technology improvements. Mr. Biagioli has moved IT away from custom in-house developed application, traditional for government IT, to an organization that functions as a system integrator for Off-the-Shelf software packages. This has allowed for reduced development staff, while increasing data analysis, business analysis, and project management. Waukesha County has also carefully implemented outsourced functions, where they make business and technical sense.

Jim Tarala, CIO,Schenck over 25 years of technology-related business and consulting experience in industries ranging from accounting, wholesale/distribution, retail, and systems-integration. He is chairman of Schenck’s Information Technology Committee, which is charged with technology planning, budgeting and adoption firm-wide. Recent projects include tax preparer workflow, document management, client portals, a new SAN infrastructure, and a firm-wide Windows 7 deployment.
Prior to joining Schenck, Jim was a co-founder of Business Data Systems.

John D Hillmer, Director of IT Operations & Infrastructure, Northwestern Mutual In his 32 years at Northwestern Mutual, John's roles have included application development, IT project and SLA management, infrastructure services, and technology management. He is currently responsible for the company's Service Operation organization that is based on the ITIL service management framework. John received his Bachelors of Science degree with honors in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, and holds a number of professional certificates for continuing education in system analysis, project management, business management, and ITIL.

William Caraher, CIO, von Briesen & Roper , has 18 years of experience managing and supporting technology in fast-paced environments. He is currently the CIO for von Briesen & Roper, a top law firm in Wisconsin. In 2011, Bill was named Emerging Technology champion of the Year by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA). He serves on the board of the Wisconsin IT Leadership Forum and he is an advisor to startup and established companies on technology, strategy and Social business. Bill obtained his undergraduate degree from DePaul University and his MBA from Marquette. Bill is also a part-time, adjunct professor of Marketing & Social Business for the Graduate School of Management at Marquette.
