Mike has been in the IT industry since 1987 starting out as a developer at Unisys Corporation and at Accenture for over 11 years as a Principal Architect. Prior to joining, Mike formed his own content management and consulting company myWebFront. Mike has a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and a M.S. in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
Jaime B Parent, Vice President of Information Technology Operations and Associate CIO, Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Jaime B Parent, Vice President of Information Technology Operations and Associate CIO, Rush University Medical Center in Chicago is leading the technical transformation of Rush through various strategies, including infrastructure deployment support for an electronic medical record and a modernization of technology infrastructure. He is in charge of day to day IT Operations supporting the Rush University Medical Center, the four colleges comprising Rush University and Rush research activities. A trained and certified clinical microbiologist, Mr. Parent has 30 years of healthcare experience including 20 years in the Air Force Biomedical Science Corps, retiring at the grade of Lieutenant Colonel in 2003. He has held several IT and CIO related positions within the United States Air Force, Department of Defense and the University of Maryland Medical System.
