BYOD and Mobile Security
-Wayne Schumaker, Advisory Systems Engineer, Avaya

Mobile computing and the use of consumer devices are a fact of life, with enterprise deployments increasing. In fact, more than half of CIOs surveyed for 2013's "State of the CIO" expect to complete one or more major mobility initiatives within the next year. These will include projects to better connect remote and mobile workers to company resources in an always-on environment; projects to enable more meaningful collaboration among geographically dispersed employees and teams; and, increasingly, efforts to extend and deepen the relationship between the business and its smartphone-dependent, tablet-toting customers and suppliers.

Your Data is on the Edge: Enable mobile workforce productivity without putting your organization at risk
- Mike Fraser, Enterprise Account Manager, Code 42

Let’s face it. The work that matters is conducted and stored on your colleagues’ laptops, tablets and phones. Most of it doesn’t get back to the server or external drives—even if daily or weekly backup is “mandated.” But those colleagues still want their data backed up and available—should the need arise—on whatever device they choose. It’s not a matter of when, it’s a matter of how you plan to give your mobile workforce the tools they need to enable productivity—while protecting the data they’re creating—for the good of the organization. Join Code42 to learn how you can automatically and continuously protect your organization's mission-critical data from edge to edge.
