Making the Shift to the Right Service Provider to Embrace the Cloud. (with a special focus on Disaster Recovery)
-Joshua Geist, CEO & President, Geminare-Partner of NTT Communications

Virtually overnight the Cloud transformed traditional DR technologies, vendors, and suppliers into “DRaaS Providers” creating a transformative ecosystem not seen for over 30 years. Gartner, Inc. the world’s leading information technology and consulting firm released one of the most significant pieces of research within the Disaster Recovery and DR in the Cloud areas (DRaaS): The Gartner DRaaS Magic Quadrant, released in April 2015. This research report states: “By 2018, the number of organizations using DRaaS will exceed the number of organizations using traditional, syndicated recovery services.”
In this presentation you will learn how your organization will be directly impacted by this monumental technology shift. You will hear key recommendations proposed in the Gartner Magic Quadrant and understand the different engagement models that DRaaS providers have versus traditional DR suppliers. This will enable you to move your DR deployment from an organizational cost to a technology enabler—a key Gartner MQ recommendation.

So where do you go from here and how fast should you try to get there?  This session discusses modern infrastructure trends, and how to realistically get there.

The Future of Secure Enterprise Messaging
-Dave Pratt, Infinite Convergence

The mobile revolution is certainly well underway, with 3.3 billion subscriptions expected by the end of 2015. Amongst the most widely used smartphone applications, messaging has proven to be a disruptive technology, challenging email as the preferred means of communication. This is both a boon and scourge in the professional sector, as messaging apps allow employees to communicate more efficiently, but typically lack the security necessary to protect company and customer data. Employees are transacting business over unsecure messaging apps and via Text exposing sensitive company confidential information and risking non-compliance in regulated industry verticals. This is a major security gap today within the Enterprise. Our presentation will focus on the rise of smartphone messaging, the "Bring Your Own Device" phenomenon, and the need for administrative control and security in the rapidly developing messaging market.

Your Path to the Modern Data Center
_ Geremy Reiner, Sr. Solution Architect, PSC Group

"We have to take advantage of the cloud!". You have probably heard this at least once from someone in your organization this year.  Now you have to figure out what "The Cloud" is, and then determine the best way to incorporate it into your current infrastructure.
In the digital world, the focus is shifting from data center strategy to data-centered strategy, resulting in a Hybrid IT infrastructure. For many, the cloud is the new data center. We now need to define, design and implement Next-Gen Data Centers with elastic digital architectures. They will become an operational linchpin, aligned and contributing directly to business outcomes.
In this presentation we will describe the Cloud and define its uses.  You will also learn about the seven key areas to be addressed within your organization to prepare you for the next evolution of your datacenter.
