Bill Hester, Director of IT, Dwyer

Bill brings over 3 decades as a technology change agent to his role as Director of IT at Dwyer Instruments, a worldwide innovator in instrument and process automation. Since joining Dwyer 3 years ago, he and his team are aggressively pursuing a corporate wide digital transformation. Starting with a traditional on premise legacy ERP system, Dwyer's is now aggressively implementing a strategic IT direction of cloud first for both back office and customer facing processes .

Prior to joining Dwyer, Bill spent most of his career delivering technology solutions in Fortune 500 companies. From being part of the team that brought ERP to the US Army, designing and prototyping global collaborative development platforms for the auto industry and implementing a cloud office solution globally, Bill has always driven the application of leading edge business technology to foundational business issues

Mohammed Owais Nasir, Director Digital Platform Solutions. Aon Plc

Mohammed Owais Nasir is an accomplished Technology Strategy leader focusing on Intelligent Automation, DevOps, Cloud, and Analytics. He is currently working as Director, Enterprise Architecture in the CTO function for Aon where he also leads Aon’s Technology Architecture Board for adoption of new technology standards globally.  Most recently, he has been leading Aon’s Cloud DevSecOps transformation initiative with a particular focus on self-service cloud enablement for startups and innovation focused BUs at Aon. This year he has also be involved with Aon’s contact center transformation program, including the adoption of AI/Low-code capabilities to modernize the platform for enhanced experience and scale. Prior to that he led the strategy and architecture for Aon’s Enterprise Analytics Platform that was stood up for Aon business units globally. Mohammed is based in the Chicagoland area where he acquired his undergraduate and graduate management degrees from Northwestern University. In 2019, he also completed a certificate program from MIT on Artificial Intelligence, which continues to be a particular area of interest for him among emerging technologies.

Rodney Nobles, CIO/CSO, Waukesha County Technical College

Rodney Nobles is the Chief Information Officer and Chief Security Officer at Waukesha County Technical College. Rodney provides guidance and leadership for the continuing innovation and security of the information technology environment throughout the college. Additionally, Nobles and his team strives to be early adopters and influencers through the use of technology to produce optimal business results. Rodney has a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Technology Management.

Cyber Resilience and Cloud Adoption in Operational Technology

Industry 4.0 has created an increased reliance on data.  Access to more data is changing how businesses operate and increasing the need for continuity planning to protect it.  In light of recent cyberattacks impacting IT and operational technology (OT) environments, cyber resilience has become more critical to business continuity planning. OT presents a rich and expanded attack surface for cybercriminals as there is significant legacy infrastructure.  During this session, we will explore security and networking considerations for developing cyber resilience and business continuity planning for private, public and hybrid cloud deployments in OT.

Richard K. Peters (Rick), CISO, Operational Technology North America - Fortinet

Rick brings the Fortinet OT-CI team more than 37 years of cybersecurity and global partnering experience working across foreign, domestic, and commercial industry sectors at the National Security Agency (NSA).  As Fortinet’s Operational Technology North American CISO, he delivers cybersecurity defense solutions and insights for the OT/ICS/SCADA critical infrastructure environments.  Prior to Fortinet, Rick led development of cyber capability across Endpoint, Infrastructure, and Industrial Control System technologies at the agency.  Previously, Rick also served as an executive leader supporting the Information Assurance Directorate at the NSA.  Earlier in his career, he served in a broad range of leadership and Engineering roles including Chief of Staff for the NSA Cyber Task Force and a 5-year forward liaison charged with directing integration of cyber and cryptologic solutions for U.S. Air Force Europe, Ramstein AFB, Germany.

Bharath is responsible for field enablement and strategic marketing at the product, service and solution level, including product launches and supporting campaigns.

Prior to joining Alert Logic, Bharath held several leadership roles at Forcepoint, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Dell Technologies across engineering, product management, business development, and technology partnerships. In his 20 years in the industry, Bharath has been very active in intellectual property programs and has received 13 patents from the USPTO covering both hardware and software designs. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. 

Biff Myre, Director, Solutions, CBTS & OnX

Biff is a thought leader in managing and mitigating Enterprise and IT risk across Hybrid IT Cloud environments. A consummate professional, he partners with organizations to help them develop or optimize their solutions for availability, resiliency, security, data protection and disaster recovery/business continuity. He is experienced with many regulated industries including financial, insurance, transportation, utilities, and healthcare.

As the business world continues to move toward offering digital services at ever-increasing speeds, the transformation of the IT organization becomes paramount. Shawn Crowley, Head of Customer Success and Pre-Sales Engineering, OpenLegacy

Shawn has a deep background in enterprise technology and integration. Recently he joined the OpenLegacy team where he is responsible for technology engagement, engineering, and customer success across North America.  Before joining OpenLegacy, he was the VP of Business Technology and Customer Success at FreedomPay, Inc. where he was responsible for pre-sales Enterprise Architecture and Customer Success for FreedomPay's Global Commerce Platform.  Prior to FreedomPay, Mr. Crowley was the Executive Director and Enterprise Architect with Oracle. He specialized in go-to-market strategy, executive customer engagement, industry specialization and technology. Shawn also ran Architecture and Business Development for Oracle’s Middleware organization and drove the application of Oracle’s Fusion Middleware products, including J2EE containers, SOA products, Security, B2B Integration, and XML technologies. Prior to Oracle, he was the Director of Engineering at The Gartner Group where he managed teams responsible for the development of J2EE products and software.  Additionally, he has been a member of the Faculty of the University of Buffalo for over 20 years where he's taught technology, engineering, and information system courses.
