Tom Knapp, CIO, Waterstone Mortgage

As Chief Information Officer at Waterstone Mortgage, Tom oversees the Information Services team, which includes IT support, IT security, new technology initiatives, web applications, and business systems. He leads the company’s “Digital Mortgage” strategy and participates on the Customer Advisory Boards of several mortgage technology companies and industry organizations.

Sam Hilgendorf, Chief Information Officer, Fox World Travel

Sam is the Chief Information Officer for Fox World Travel, a leader in corporate and leisure travel management.  Within Fox, Sam is responsible for the vision and roadmap for the enterprise technology portfolio, the product development strategy, and for the implementation and technical support for their clients. Over this last year Fox World Travel has implemented Cognition - their business intelligence platform, migrated their mission-critical applications into Microsoft Azure, and has implemented a next-generation cloud contact center. Prior to joining Fox World Travel, Sam spent 20 years as a technology consultant, project manager, and in executive leadership roles. He is a former Cisco CCIE and still holds an active PMP certification.

The Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT) just published a report entitled The COVID-19 Checklist: Detailed Steps to Better Protect Your Organization. Stan Wisseman, an ICIT Fellow, will review the non-technical and technical steps the ICIT recommends to improve the security posture of any organization in these rapidly changing times.

    Stan Wisseman is the Chief Security Strategist and leader for Micro Focus’ Security products Business Solutions team in the U.S. In this role, Mr. Wisseman is responsible for providing providing thought leadership and insight regarding the ever changing global threat landscape. Mr. Wisseman has over 30 years of information security experience and has applied security best practices to operating systems, networks, systems, software, and organizations. He has worked for NSA, Oracle, Cable & Wireless, Cigital, and Booz Allen Hamilton in roles that have ranged from Security Engineer, Product Manager, to Director of various Information Security consulting practices. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Mr. Wisseman served as the Chief Information Security Officer for Fannie Mae with responsibilities for information security and business resiliency across the organization. Micro Focus and cbts-OnX are business partners delivering technology solutions to meet the needs of enterprise and mid-market organizations.

Cybersecurity is a constantly shifting landscape, and the changes brought about from the COVID-19 pandemic have caused a shift in how work is conducted, exposing new risks and exacerbating older ones. In this presentation RSM will discuss these risks, recent attacks or unique issues related to these changes, and how to manage the risks for your organization.

With over ten years of experience in the information security field, he has led, managed and executed a variety of IT security projects, including application security reviews, network penetration testing, security testing, information privacy assessments, data flow mapping, IT security governance and risk management engagements.
