Session: Leveraging New Consumption-Based (On-Premise) IT-as-a-Service Models for Fast, Efficient Digital Transformation.

Wish you could transform a traditional IT procurement process into a true on premise pay-as-you-go consumption-based cloud-like model? Want to free your IT team from monitoring and managing the physical infrastructure in order to give them more time to work on higher level business-outcome initiatives? Would you (and your CFO) appreciate a pay-for-what-you-use flexible IT infrastructure model where all IT systems are monitored and managed and automatically scaled out as your business and IT users simply consume? Do you dread the repeating capital requisition process that inefficiently overprovisions assets and then tries to time-out the next upgrade/refresh–distracting your team from higher value initiatives?

Your wish is now granted! In this session you’ll see how companies are now leveraging the latest in true cloud-like, pay-as-you-consume flexible infrastructure procurement models to provide their businesses with the following advantages:

-up to 75% faster provisioning and deployment of IT transformation projects

-up to 40% savings in capital expense by eliminating overprovisioning from the traditional capacity planning process

-up to 40% increased IT Team productivity by removing the burden of infrastructure equipment support, management, capacity planning, upgrades and refreshes

-up to 85% less unplanned downtime/business disruption due to infrastructure and capacity issues

Session: When Modernization Became Mandatory

In 2020, modernization became mandatory. Businesses have new imperatives to move resources off-premises and make them widely available to all remote workers; they have needed to respond at an unimaginable pace to business model upheavals that have only continued throughout the year; they have been challenged to gather data and respond to changes in business changes on a daily basis.

In this talk, we will also cover tactics that we apply to our clients to help them continue to progress towards cloud modernization; how they can transform technology teams to respond quickly and nimbly to business challenges; and how they can capture and respond to data more quickly.

    Joe Nedumgottil, Technical Director Kin+Carta

Joe has over 18 years of experience in enterprise technology consulting across a gamut of industries including B2C, finance, and energy, and has worked with companies in sizes ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early- stage and late-stage startups.
