REMOTE Part Time Position with the Technology Executives Club

Join the Team and Help our community grow. We have a great part time, flexible position now available for the right self starter who likes to both serve and sell to people! Great opportunity to earn extra cash on a part time basis with extra incentives built in!

  • This is a "Combination" role for the right person who likes to multitask.

  • Our CEO is looking for a “Right-Arm” for our new Membership Programs

  • The position involves three core roles: a. The Main Role is Membership Sales Assistant; b. Customer Service representative to potential and current members. c. Membership Sales (Can grow into this role.)
  • Ideal part-time position during regular central time work hours (8:30 to 5:30) - 20-25 hours.  $20/hr plus incentives based upon performance.

  • Work at your home office 100% of the time.

  • Preferred - that you also participate in our Spring & Fall conferences in Chicago area. These are currently one day, but may expand to 2 day events as we grow.

  • Experience in the Technology industry or a membership-based organization is a must.

  • The ideal candidate must have proven sales or telemarketing experience, be great with people on the phone, and be very organized and able to multitask.

  • This role involves phone work, email follow up, CRM/online database work and other online marketing-type tools. Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in email or similar type posts.

  • Our approach is to serve first, and then ask for the order, but you must not be shy about asking for the order and know ultimately that is the role - to grow our community.

  • Sales Assistant - The Club has two types of sales - Membership Sales, and Vendor Sponsor sales (for events).  Must be able to switch back/forth and speak to each customer as relevant.

  • In the Sales Assistant role- will be responsible for all initial prospecting to our internal list as well as follow up to help create leads for our premium membership levels, and follow up with them to set up a qualified candidate into a “Discovery Call” with our President.

  • All qualified leads set up as a call with our President will qualify for an incentive, and any sale that comes about as a result of the call qualifies for an additional incentive. 

  • You will handle 90% of the follow up via both email and phone, and possibly snail mail. (Yes - executives still read this!)

  • As Customer Service duties - you will be responsible for helping on-board customers into the website portal, and also manage touch points on a regular basis with both customers/members and community members to cultivate leads and potential members.

  • Must be PC/Computer/online savvy.  Ability to use a variety of online sales and marketing tools, such as online CRM, gotomeeting, LinkedIn, database tools, plus Office 365 tools.
