Allen Darrah

Allen Darrah is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in organizational development, cybersecurity, and technology risk management. He possesses a unique blend of technical and business acumen, with a deep understanding of the intersection of technology and law. Allen is an expert in executive technology leadership, cybersecurity management, and team design. Allen's professional journey began as a philosophy major and pre-law student, but instead of attending law school, he developed his own business and consultancy, focusing on technology risk. There he helped small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Midwest. He then shifted to healthcare technology for ten years at a large hospital group and laboratory. Allen leaped into the legal field in 2015 when he took on the role of Head of Information Technology at Spencer Fane LLP. A national firm with its roots in Kansas City, Spencer Fane is one of the country's fastest-growing large law firms.

Allen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University, where he focused on economics and finance. And in 2020, Allen graduated from the elite Executive Technology Management program at Columbia University in the City of New York with a Master of Science degree, further strengthening his expertise in executive leadership and technology management. Throughout his career, Allen has been recognized for his contributions to the field and has won numerous awards for technology leadership. He is also a respected instructor, teaching a Technology and Law course at Columbia, where he uses his expertise to educate the next generation of technology leaders. Allen's ultimate goal is to help organizations and individuals develop the skills and knowledge necessary to build successful careers in technology.
