IT Workforce Management Strategy

The trick in developing the right Organizational Change and Workforce strategy is to clearly understand the current culture of the organization. Once you understand the organization’s culture, you can develop a plan to condition and transform the culture. There are 2 Organizational Change Models that have proven quite effective from my experience: “Kotter’s 8-step Approach to Organizational Change” and the “Aurra Cycle”. Kotter’s approach to organizational change is similar to the establishment of ‘Critical Success Factors’ such as ‘Creating a sense of urgency’ and ‘Creating a Vision’. The Aurra Cycle is the process of Organizational Transformation: Analyze, Unfreeze, Reconfigure, and Refreeze. Leveraging these models, we created an environment where our workforce feels informed, enabled, engaged, and empowered!
